The very last event on the VCE History lecture programme, the Interactive Forum involves some content revision but focuses mainly on exam preparation. Intensive 75-minute sessions for each of the four revolutions will cover key concepts, possible questions and suggested approaches, as well as last-minute exam tips.
More collaborative than other lecture programs, the Interactive Forum provides ample opportunity for you to ask questions and contribute during sessions. When not attending a session, registrants are encouraged to meet, chat with and seek feedback from the presenters, who will include:
Steve Thompson (vcehistory.info creator and author of several texts)
Tom Ryan (Russia and China specialist, author of current and forthcoming texts)
Richard Malone (author of Analysing the Russian Revolution)
Registration for the 2007 Interactive Forum is $35 for students and $10 for teachers and parents. Registration includes participation in three sessions, a full trial exam, sample responses, drinks and snacks throughout the day. A free shuttle-bus service to and from Hoppers' Crossing station will be available for those using public transport (bookings required).
